Bryan Ferry first came to prominence with Roxy Music in the early 1970s, a band famed for their glamorous stage costumes and stylish music videos. Ferry followed a parallel solo career at this time and had a number of hits including `Lets Stick Together. He was also well-known for dating beautiful women, including Jerry Hall (later to marry Mick Jagger). The only No.1 hit for Ferry, was `Jealous Guy, a tribute to John Lennon.
