A magnificent photograph taken in 1986 of the legendary punk band.
The Ramones have often been called the first American punk band. Though they never achieved great commercial success, their underground band status gave them a loyal following. The band’s most successful hit in the UK was `Baby I Love You’ which reached No. 8 in 1980. The band disbanded in 1996 after more than 20 years. Sadly all three founding members Joey, Johnny and Dee Dee Ramone died within eight years following the break-up.
